ERSA appoints Principal Risk Scientist as Chairman of the Board

Wayne Haslam announced at the ERSA AGM in December that he would be stepping down from the role of Chairman of the Board. Managing Director Tony Batten thanked Wayne for the guidance and energy he has provided in establishing ERSA as a leading provider of audit and risk services to the areas of disaster management and natural resource management (NRM).

The Board appointed ERSA’s Principal Risk Scientist, Ken Granger, as Chairman of the Board. Ken is a founding Director of ERSA and an Honorary Fellow of the Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute and a past President of the Royal Geographical Society of Queensland. He was awarded the AURISA Eminent Individual award in 1996. Ken has had a long and distinguished career as a geographer and is one of Australia’s most highly regarded disaster risk management specialists.

ERSA also appointed Mikila Rosewall to its Board. Mikila is a founding shareholder of ERSA and brings with her additional energy and a breadth of experience in environmental science.
